There are 128 ounces in 1 gallon.

6 eggs >> 1 gallon >> 128 ounces >> 32 servings of ice cream.

750/32 = 23.4375

You have to make 24 of the recipe.  You can't make a fractional recipe, so you have to round 23.4375 up to 24.

24 of the recipe >> 24*6 >> 144 eggs.
