distribute the 56 first

56 times x is 56x

56 times 1 is 56

you can now rewrite this as

56x+56+7x=45.353

add the x terms together

63x+56=45.353

subtract 56

63x=-10.647

divide by 63

x=-0.169

are you sure you wrote this problem correctly?
