These are the areas of the triangles added together:

½(3.2×3.8)+½(3.2×3.8)+½(3.2×1.6)+½(3.2×1.6)=

3.2×3.8+3.2×1.6=3.2×5.4=17.28 sq km.

Or, you could take just two triangles and add their areas 3.2(3.8+1.6)=3.2×5.4=17.28 sq km.
