let a and b are the two numbers. then it will be  ab=0.2  (1)  and a/b=0.8  (2)  from the (2) we get

a=0.8b  plugging this value of a to the (1)  we get  0.8bb=0.2  or 0.8b2=0.2  ====>  b2=0.2/0.8 so

b2=1/4 and b=sqrt (1/4) = +/-1/2  the negative value is rejected.  plugging this value of b to (2)

we get  a/(1/2)=0.8  ----->>> 2a=0.8  so a=0.8/2=0.4  so a=0.4  and b=1/2 are the two numbers we re

looking for.  so ab=0.4(1/2)=0.2  and  a/b=0.4/(1/2)=0.8
