you have to factor this then use the foil method to check

(4x-1)(x-1)

(4x)(x) = 4x^2

(4x)(-1) =-4x

(-1)(x)=-1x

(-1)(-1) = 1

Now add all the like numbers together you have 4x^2 -4x-1x+1=0

4x^2-5x+1=0 verifies problem so your answer is  (4x-1)(x-1)
