lef b is the bill amount

we have 8.75 %  taxes this is b*.0875= .0875b

we have a tip of 15% this is b*.150 = .150b

so total payment = .0875b + .150b + b = b(.0875 + .150 + 1) = 1.2375b

so if the bill is $100 total payment will be 1.2375 * 100 = $123.75
