if the box is 28cm by 15cm by 20cm and the disc cases are 1.5cm by 14.2cm by 19.3cm then does 17 disc cases fit in the box

The area of the box is 15 cm by 20 cm, and the height is 28 cm

The area of each case is 14.2 cm by 19.3 cm.

The area dimensions of each case are smaller than the area dimensions of the box.

So each case will fit inside the box up to a height of 28 cm.

Height of each case is 1.5 cm

17 * 1.5 = 25.5 which is less than 28

Answer: 17 cases will fit inside the box.
