1 number is 8 more than a 2nd number 5 times the 1st is 3 less than 6 times the 2nd Find the numbers

I have tried everything to solve this please help me

1 number is 8 more than a 2nd number 5 times. the 1st is 3 less than 6 times the 2nd Find the numbers

a = 5b+8

also

a = 6b -3

5b + 8 = 6b -3

b = 11

a = 63
