ive been stumped on this for 20 minutes now.

ive gotten this far..

turning mixed numbers into improper fraction:

3x7=24 24+3=27 -> 27/7

2x9=18 18+7= 25 -> 25/9

Multiply across:

27/7 x 25/9= 675/63

Changing improper fraction into a mixed number:

9 75/7

this is where imstumped the answer is 9 11/21

i just dont understand how the 11/21 came into place!

PLEASE HELP!!

3 3/7 x 2 7/9  you have to convert the mixed numbers to improper fractions

therefore =  24/7 x 25/9  now you just can multiply

               =  600/63  we simplify 600/3 is 200 and 63/3 is 21

               =  200/21 now convert to mixed number again   21*9 is 189 and we need 11 to get to 200 so 9 recalls 11

               = 9 11/21
