Problem: How do I solve the equation 6 x 2/3=
how do I solve the following equation?

6 x 2/3 =

You have two choices. You can multiply the 6 by the 2, then
divide by the 3; or you can divide the 6 by the 3, then multiply
by the 2. Either way, you get the same answer.

6 x 2/3 = 12/3 = 4
