15-3x=-6 what is x

Isolate x. Go in the opposite order of pemdas. So if x is on the side with 15-3x, the first step is to get rid of the 15 by subtracting it from both sides. This leaves you with a -3x on this side. so whatever you get on the other side, you will need to divide it by -3 in order to get the x by itself on one side.
