Step 1: replace the x

5(-5y+6) = 3y + 2

Step 2: distribute

-25y + 30 = 3y + 2

Step 3: subtract 2 from both sides

-25y + 28 = 3y

Step 4: add 25y to both sides

28 = 28y

Step 5: divide

THE ANSWER IS

Y = 1
