9 - 5 + 5 x 0 + 3 =
in order of operations by
9 - 5 + 5 x 0 + 3 =
Do the multiplication first, and rewrite part of it so it makes more sense.
9 +(-5) + 0 + 3 =

As you can see more clearly here, the 5 is ONLY number which has a negative attribute, so even if you decide to go out of order and add 3, you will only get (-2), which will still give you the right answer of 7.

7 .

You Use Pemdas .

5 x 0 = 0 . 9 - 5 = 4 . 4 + 3 = 7 !!!!
by
PEMDAS   But you subtracted before adding.  "AS" Add then subtract.

Than answer is 1.
Add OR Subtract, whichever comes first. Seven is correct.
9 - 5 + 5 x 0 + 3

5 x 0 = 0

9 - 5 + 0 + 3

9 + (-5) = 4

4 + 0 + 3 = 7
By the way that is so wrong
pleas answer me

You sovle left to right, not right to left

9-5+5x0+3=?
9-5+0+3=?
4+0+3=?
4+3=7
if you work out of order (right to left) you have to remember its really
9+(-5)+5X0+3 so
9+(-5)+0+3=
9+(-5)+3=
9+(-2)=7
still 7
You said this:
9 - 5 + 5 x 0 + 3 =
9 - 5 + 0 + 3 =
9 - 5 + 3 =
9 - 8
ans. 1

The error is in 9-5+3 turning into 9 - 8.
-5 + 3 = -2, so 9-5+3 becomes 9-2
Answer:  7
9-5+3

I think that is not 9-(5+3)= 9-8=1

but (9-5)+3= 4+3=7

remember PEMDAS.
by
its PEMDAS but you subtracted first before you add?..
If you use simple math like you learn in elementary school, there is no negative numbers. it would go 9 - 5 = 4 + 5 = 9 X 0 = 0 + 3 = 3.
by
so do you still in elementary school mr?
9-5+5x0+3=?  using pemdas we mulitiply first so:

9-5+0+3=?

Now working LEFT TO RIGH !!!!! all ways LEFT to RIGH!!!!   you monkeys!

4+0+3=?

4+3=7
by

right to left... left to right.  IT DOESN'T MATTER.  as long as you multiply the two numbers that are together first (remember order of operation) you can do it diagonally if you want.  If you throw +9 and -5 and 0 and +3 into a pot you will ALWAYS end up with 7 smiley

by
yes it does matter, I've seen people going right to left come up with this;

9-5 + 0+ 3
9-5+3
9-8 = 1 which of course is WRONG

the error in the way your showing the problem has nothing to do with right to left or left to right though.  The error in the method that you show above has 100% to do with not accounting for positive and NEGATIVES in the problem.
+9
-5
0
+3
7

+3
0
-5
+9

those numbers in ANY order ALWAYS equal 7.  If you put a +5 into the problem it is not the same problem anymore because you are using different numbers now.  -5 and +5 are 10 numbers away from one another on a number line.

by
You're right, +9 + -5 +0 +3 will always come out 7, However the problem IS presented as 9-5+5x0+3=?  And all the people getting wrong are doing so because;
A- the forgot their order of operations
B- they're mixing the terms
c- I dunno, just to cheese off people who do know their math?
(9-5) + (5x0) + (0+3)=

  4 +  0  + 3 = 7
by
all same operation and bottom rank are order to grouping

9-5+5x0+3+?

(9-5+5) X (0+3)=27
by
9-5+5*0+3=

we have  solve through the mathmatics rules

BODMAS( breacet of divide multyply addetion subscrtion)

there r no breacket here so first we solve the multyply

9-5+0+3 bcoz 5*0=0

then add

9-8 bcoz  5+0+3=8

and now

subs..

9-8 =1

ans is here  1 this is right ans
by

9 - 5 + 5 x 0 + 3 =

step 1) always x first

5x0= 0
then you have
9-5++3 =

step 2) ++ always give -
and for ex - - always give +

(thats mat)

then you have

9-5-3 = 1

by
U can't just trow 0 away. In mathematics 0 is also a digit. So u are soooo wrong

- - always give +  True

+ + always give - Not True! if is of course +

step 2) 9 -5 +3 = 7

by

9-5+5 x 0+3=7 like this,

9-4=4 , 5 x 0=0 , 3 NOW,

4+0+3

4+3=7

SO RIGHT ANSER IS SEVEN (7)

by

9-5+5 x 0+3=????         9-5=4 , 5 x 0=0 ,3 now,

4+0+3,

4+3=7

so the answer is seven (7)

by

9-5+5x0+3
= 9-5+0+3 ... M(ultiply) 5x0 first
= 7 ... A(dd) and S(ubtract) from left to right

by

 ‎9+(-5)+(5x0=0)+3=___7___
9+(-5)+0+3= 7
4+3=7

7=7

by
12 worked out as follows

9-5=4 +

9-2=7

LEFT TO RIGHT, not right to left!
9-5+5x0+3=1 5x0=0 (M) 9-5+0+3 0+3=3 (A) 9-5+3 5+3=8 (A) 9-8=1 (S) PEMDAS.
by
9 - 5 + 5 X 0 +3 =

9 - 5 = 4

4 + 5 = 9

9 X 0 = 0 (any number X 0 = 0)

0 + 3 = 3

OR

9 - 5 + 5 = 9 X 0 = 0 + 3 = 3

The correct answer is 3
by
only if you assume the first five is a minus number... what law of math... or please explain how you arrive at the conclusion that it is "- 5"?
by
the answer is 1 because u have to add first before u subtract.
by
first of all we solve the multiple one which is (5*0) = 0

then,

new equation will be ==> 9-5+0+3=7

then, 9-5 = 4

then, 4+3 = 7
by

9 - 5 + 5 x 0 + 3 =

by
To those saying add THEN subtract:

Addition and subtraction are the same function. Subtraction is the simpler way of adding a negative number. In PEMDAS, they are done at the same time from left to right.

9-5+5x0+3

I believe the answer is 17.

If 9-5 is 4 and 5+5 is 10 and 5X0=0 0+3=3 then 4+10+0+3= 17

Let's do it this way. You have 9 oranges u gave a friend 5 then I promised to give u 5 more oranges but I forgot u then collected 3 from my friend. How many oranges do u have now? Answer is 7 not 3
by Level 1 User (140 points)
Work this equation from left to right and the answer is 3. The above answer relies on parentheses which aren't there. Or you insert rules that don't apply, such as multiply everything first to get any answer. Please show me a rule -- or the logic --  that says do the multiplication first.

Therefore, 9-5+5x0+3=

so, 9-5 is 4

4 plus five is 9

9 times 0 is zero (Anything before that x 0 will equal zero after the multiplication.)

zero plus 3 is 3.

The answer is 3 unless you play word games. If you mix up the commands, I can come up with a bunch of different answers.
by
You do the multiplication FIRST and then you work out the addition and subtraction from left to right, lol
correct answer is    7
by
the answer is 7
by
Exactly 9+(-5) + 0+ 3 = 7
by
LOL not even close. Addition and subtraction (left to right0 precedes multiplication.

The answer would be 7.

3.

9-5=4; 4+5=9; 9x0=0; 0 +3=3.
