It is easier to graph as it. This is a circle centered at (0,0)

that goes through (0,2), (2,0), (0,-2), (-2,0)  radius =2

to solve y^2 =4-x^2

y= sqrt(4-x^2)

and y= - sqrt(4-x^2)
