Problem: solve -11(-54)-|-25|=
what are the steps to solving this problem. my answers are not coming out corretly.

It would be a good idea to address the "absolute value" question first.
The absolute value of -25 is 25. Therefore, you are subtracting 25, NOT -25.
If you were to get that wrong, you would end up ADDING 25 instead of subtracting.

-11(-54) - |-25| =
-11(-54) - 25 =

Now, multiply.

-11(-54) - 25 =
594 - 25 =

And subtract.

594 - 25 = 569
