Problem: 1 + ((1/ 1 +1)/1)
1+1/(1+1/1+1/1+1)

You have two different versions there. I'll use
the second one.

1 + 1/(1 + 1/1 + 1/1 + 1)

Looking inside the parentheses, there are no other
parentheses, so the division comes first.

1 + 1/(1 + 1 + 1 + 1)

Now, the addition inside the parentheses.

1 + 1/4

Simple addition finishes it.

Answer: 1 1/4
