What is the answer to 145 / 7 and then rounded to the nearest hundredth

145 /7 = (140 + 5) / 7 = 20 5/7

5/7 = 0.71428...

The 3rd decimal digit is 4, which is less than 5, so the 2nd decimal digit, 1, remains unchanged.

i.e. 5/7 = 0.71 to 2 dp  (i.e. to the nearest 100th)

Answer: 145 / 7 = 20.71 to 2 dp
