Solve for x y = 3/5x + 12 y-12 = 3/5x 5(y-12) = 3x x = (5y - 60) / 3 You can also plot the line... slope = rise / run = 3/5 since the equation is in the form y=mx+b if x = 0 (substitution) then y = 3/5 * 0 + 12 so y = 12 point (0,12) using the slope, the next point will be (5,15) Does this answer the question?
