Problem: what is the answer to m/3+5>=3
Solving Inequalities

m/3 + 5 >= 3
m/3 + 5 - 5 >= 3 - 5
m/3 >= -2
(m/3) * 3 >= -2 * 3
m >= -6

Check it. Let's take the case of m = -6.

m/3 + 5 >= 3
-6/3 + 5 >= 3
-2 + 5 >= 3
3 >= 3

That's correct. Now pick any m > -6: we'll use 3.

m/3 + 5 >= 3
3/3 + 5 >= 3
1 + 5 >= 3
6 >= 3

That's correct, too.

Answer: m >= -6
