9x -7i >3 (3x - 7u) working the right side first, you have 3(3x -7) = 9x - 21 9x - 7i > 9x - 21 What ever you do to one side of the equation you can do to the other. Subtract 9x from both sides. -7i > -21 Divide both sides by -7 (dividing by a negative reverses the sign) i < 3

9x-7i>3(3x-7u)
