1. length of side of  "cube one"  = 3 x length of "cube two"

2. volume of "cube one" = 108 cm^3

cube two volume = ?

3. using eq. 2. => "cube one" length = (108 cm^3) ^ 1/3

4. using eq. 1&3 => : (108 cm^3) ^ 1/3 = 3 x length of "cube two"

5.using eq. 4 => length of cube two = (108 cm^3) ^ (1/3) / 3

6. using eq. 5 => volume of cube two = ((108 cm^3) ^ (1/3) / 3) ^ 3 = 108 cm^3 / 9
