Problem: how to slove 0.5m − 0.06 + 0.2m = 2.74
i really need help in solving this problem

0.5m − 0.06 + 0.2m = 2.74
0.7m − 0.06 = 2.74
0.7m − 0.06 + 0.06 = 2.74 + 0.06
0.7m = 2.80
0.7m * 10 = 2.80 * 10
7m = 28
7m/7 = 28/7
m = 4

Check.

0.5m − 0.06 + 0.2m = 2.74
0.5(4) − 0.06 + 0.2(4) = 2.74
2 - 0.06 + 0.8 = 2.74
2.8 - 0.06 = 2.74
2.74 = 2.74

It checks. The answer is: m = 4
