I have a chart of last years revenue for 5 different stores.   It sure seems to me that is quantitative data.   However, if I try to put it into a chart I'd want to use a bar chart with revenue on the vertical axis and the five different stores on five bars on the horizontal axis.   However, my understand is that numbers vs. number (quantitative) go on a line chart or histogram.   Words vs. numbers go on bar graphs.   Which kind of data is it?    Seems to me it must be qualitative since it goes on a bar graph.   I'm confused!!!!
