all i know is that you are suposed to use some formula, but i just dont have the formula to be able to do the problem. the question says:

solve.

2(5x+20)=2(6x+12)

select the correct choice below and, if necessary, fill in the answer box to complete your answer.

a. the solution set is {__} (simplify your answer)

b. the solution is all real numbers

c. the solution is the empty set

I do know that it is not empty set, or all real numbers. so, its the fill in the blank answer. Like i said earlier, i just dont have the formula to be able to do this problem. if i had it and or was able to look it up (successfully), i wouldnt be here asking this question. any help will be great! also thank you in advance for the help.
