multiply the two numerators to get the new numerator,
and multiply the two denominators to get the new denominator.
After that, you can reduce the fraction, and make it into
a mixed number if necessary.

9 1/3 x 3 3/8
28/3 x 27/8
(28 x 27)/(3 * 8)

Actually, you can start reducing at this point.

(28 x 27)/(3 * 8)    ..... 28/8 = 7/2  ......  27/3 = 9/1
(7 * 9)/(2 * 1)
63/2
31 1/2
