apparentlee angel start at 0  & gotu 2 pi radians (360 deg)

sine(0)=sine(2pi)=0...& sine(pi)=0

But multipli bi 6, so it go up & down that much bigger

& square it so it oenlee go up...down part get terned so it go up 2.

& -1...shift all stuf down 1, so horizontal line thru bottoms be at y=-1
