sins yu hav form a=b, then (a/100)=(b/100)

5x+235=555

5x=555-235=320

x=64

Throughout divide by 100
5x/100+235/100=555/100
0.05x + 2.35 =5.55

Hence equations
5x +235 =555 = 0.05x + 2.35 =5.55
