what are the coordinates of the y-intercept in the graph of the equation y=5x+3
help me in my answer

y = 5x + 3

The way the equation is written is called the slope-intercept form. That means
that the 3 in the equation is the value of y where the line crosses the y axis.
At that point, the x value is zero.

Therefore, the co-ordinates of the y-intercept must be (0, 3)
