a parallel line has the same slope, which in your case is -3/5. so, you can plug in the values x = -5 and y = 5 using the slope - 3 /5 and find what your intercept is. 5 = (-3/5)*(-5) + b 5 = 3 + b b = 2 so 2 is your intercept (b) and your slope (m) is -3/5 now you can write it in the form of a line.
