(- 5, - 7) and has a slop of 2/5 ⇒ x(1) = - 5, y(1) = - 7

Y - Y(1) = M(X - X(1))

Y - ( - 7) = 2/5*(X -( - 5))

y + 7 = 2/5* ( x + 5)

y + 7  = 2x/5 = 2*5/5

y = 2x/5 + 2 _ 7

y = 2x/5 - 5 ⇒ C is the right answer
