The answer to "2 parallel lines can have the same midpoint" is sometimes true.  Why?

Wouldn't the answer be 'never,' because lines don't have midpoints?  A line continues forever in both directions, so it doesn't have a midpoint.

A line segment, part of a line, starting at one point and ending at another point, does have a midpoint.  If there are two parallel line segments that are on top of each other, even if they have different lengths, then yes, they can sometimes have the same midpoint.
