 find D if 2(d-4)=-2d+8

2(d - 4) = -2d + 8
2d - 8 = -2d + 8
2d - 8 + 2d + 8 = -2d + 8 + 2d + 8
4d = 16
4d / 4 = 16 / 4
d = 4

Check.

2(d - 4) = -2d + 8
2(4 - 4) = -2(4) + 8
2(0) = -8 + 8
0 = 0
