do two equations x^2 - 8x + 7 = 1.5

and x^2 - 8x + 7 = -1.5

1.  x^2 - 8x + 5.5 = 0

2. x^2 - 8x + 8.5 = 0

If you are familiar with the quadratic formula, you can use it from here and get your four answers.
