how do i Factor the following polynomial: x2 + 12x + 32 ?

i tried this problem over and over again, but i thought it was like factoring a binomial. So when i factored it as a binomal my answer didn't fit with any of the choices i was giving

x^2 + 12x + 32
= x^2 + 4x + 8x + 32
= (x^2 + 4x) + (8x + 32)
= x(x + 4) + 8(x + 4)
= (x + 8)(x + 4)
