me assume that stuf shood be

1... x=(2/5)y

2...x+y=21...x=21-y

(2/5)y=21-y...2y=105-5y

2y+5y=105...7y=105

y=15

x=21-y...x=21-15...x=6

Let the number are x and y

Then,
x=2/5y...(1)
x+y=21...(2)

Substitute x value in equation (2) from equation (1)
2/5y+y=21
y=15

Substitute y value in equation (1)
x=2/5*15
x=6
