3, 6, 9...look like arithamatk sequens with start=3 & step size=3

term 29=87

29-1=28, 3*28=84, 84+3=87

My mistake.  I read the problem as "what is term 87?"

Lesson:  The solution below is wrong.  It would be correct if the question was "what is term 87?," but the question is "what term is 87?" instead.
