I dont get this at all please help y=x+3

ok so... you would use the substitution method. this means replace Y in the second equation with x+3, so it would look like x+3=2x+4. You ill find that X=-1. To find Y you would substitute -1 with X, so Y would be 2.

 

X= -1

Y= 2
