Given: 3.141   Expanded notation expresses the value of each digit in the numbers given in standard form.   There are many ways in writting expanded forms like shown bellow:

1. Expanded numbers form: 3.141=3+0.1+0.04+0.001

2. Expanded factors form: 3.141=3x1+1x0.1+4x0.01+1x0.001

3. Expanded exponentials form in power of ten, generally called the scientific notation:

     3.141=3x10^0+1x10^-1+4x10^-2+1x10^-3

4. Expanded E-notations form: 3.141=3E0+1E(-1)+4E(-2)+1E(-3)
