The handle of the Little Dipper is made up of Ursa Minor, Yildun, and Polaris.

Here's a view (generated by Universe Sandbox) of the Little Dipper from (roughly) our position:

Muneepenee is right- the handle bends.  That's only from our point of view.

Here's another view of the Little Dipper's tail, from a different point of view:

The stars Ursa Minor, Yildun, and Polaris aren't even close to colinear.  This is due to the stars being so far away from us, we get no sense of depth looking up into the sky- the stars all look like they're projected onto a sphere centered on us.
