how to add unlike denominators
Find the equation of 6/10+7/12

You can't add unlike denominators. You must change them
to a common denominator. For this problem, that would be 60.

6/10 + 7/12
(6/10)(6/6) + (7/12)(5/5)
36/60 + 35/60
71/60
