change the 3 mixed form of fractions into improper fraction first.

3 1/2 = 7/2

4 2/3 = 14/3

7 1/4 = 29/4

use 12 as your LCD or least common denominator

e.g 7/2 = 42/12

how did i get the numerator 42? here's how. divide 2 from 12 which is 6 then multiply it to 7 equals 42.

now, lets proceed to the equation

42 + 56 + 87

 12

is equal to 185/12. then convert it again to mixed fraction.

equals to 15 5/12

i hope it will help.
