Fractions are basically division problems.
If the question is to find the decimal or percent then you divide the top by the bottom. For percent you need to multiply by 100 also.
If you are reducing them then you need to be aware that any change you make means you are dividing by a form of 1. N/N where N is a common number that can be divided out of the top and bottom.
