what are the dimensions and area of a rectangular dog pen of 2000 feet perimeter?

I am making a dog pen for my dog, Maggie. I have 2000 feet of fencing to enclose all four sides of a rectangular pen.  what is the are and the dimensions?

yu shuer yer yard big nuff tu hold 2000 ft???

thats rim-leng=2*(leng+wide)

size depend on shape...get biggest area if make square,

then leng=wide=1000/2=500 ft

area=500^2=250,000sq ft
