If I own 80% of a company, what increase on percentage would one consider to be significant?

Issue is what is a significant percentage increase when one is purchasing shares in a corporation.

 

For example if I buy 2%, would it be considered significant.  What if I buy 4%, 8%, 10% more.

 

What is the threshold.
