(2^3-1 +10)÷7=6,then what is the value of x.   FIrst of all I don't see x.

use pemdas to solve

(2^3 - 1 + 10) /7 =

step 1: do parenthesis first, but do the exponent first in them.

(8 - 1 + 10) / 7

step 2:  in the parenthesis do the addition and subtraction across the line.

(7 + 10) / 7

step 3:

17 / 7

step 4:

2 3/7
