1) Number of diagonals of a 'n' sided polygon is given by C(n,2) - n

2) Here n being 35, number of diagonals = C(35,2) - 35

= (35 x 34)/(1 x 2) - 35 = 560
by Level 1 User (500 points)
number of diagonals =n (n-3)/2

35(32)/2 =560
by Level 5 User (12.9k points)
The total number of diagnols in a n sided polygon are :- N*(N-3)/2

Therefore for N=35

we have NO. OF DIAGONALS = 35*(35-3)/2

=35*32/2

=560 ANS.
