Problem: What is the coefficient of y in the expression 12 + 3y - 2x
I don't know what to put I am just asking this question because I do not know the answer or how to solve it

The co-efficient is the constant that is used
to multiply a variable. In your expression,
you have + 3y.

Answer: the co-efficient of y is 3.
