simplifying

+0.666666666667*(y-57)=178

reorder the in parentheses

+(o.666666666667y-38)=176

remove unneccessary parentheses

0.666666666667y-38=+178

group like terms y to the left side and orthers to the right side

+0.666666666667y=+176

simplify left and right side of the equation

+0.66666666667y=+216

divide both side by 0.666666666667 to get y

y=324
