Question: Solve 16(2x-1)=4(x+3)+2x

Expand the bracketed terms.

32x - 16 = 4x + 12 + 2x

Bring all the x-terms to one side and the constant terms to the other.

32x - 4x - 2x = 16 + 12

Add together like terms.

26x = 28

divide bith sides by 26.

x = 14/13
