Problem: Find the altitude of a triangle whose area is 100 cm2 and whose base is 20 cm
I am doing this for an online class and I don't understand how to do this question.

The area of a triangle is calculated as a = 1/2 bh.

100 = 1/2 20h
100 = 10h
10 = h

Answer: the height (or altitude) is 10cm
